Dersch Design & Engineering designed 31 different solar PV systems and associated Title 24 complaint lighting systems for a portfolio of 31 California K-12 Public School sites spanning multiple school districts. Project locations included schools in Anaheim, San Juan Capistrano, San Carlos, Roseville, and Palo Alto.
Our firm created electrical plan drawings, electrical power system studies, performed site inspections, and coordinated with school districts and contractors to execute a value engineered approach that met the client’s specifications.
Designs were developed concurrently with overlapping deliverables on a tight time frame. The designs for all 31 sites began in February of 2018 and the vast majority of plans were approved by DSA in May of the same year with zero electrical comments. We see this as a testament to the level of detail and constructability of our plans, as well as our capability to design large portfolios of projects on a tight schedule.
